Challenge
Hello Pizza, the second restaurant by James Beard Award-winning chef Ann Kim, is a corner pizza shop that doesn’t cut corners. Modeled after the slice shops Chef Kim fell in love with while living in NYC, the restaurant is nestled in a quiet neighborhood, but their attitude is anything but suburban. They needed a brand that would help them grab attention and fans by celebrating their vibrant, punk rock personality and no-apologies love for pizza.

The passion for great pizza runs deep. Through brand, we could elevate the more punk-fueled parts of Hello Pizza’s personality without turning off the families who regularly flock to their counter.

We helped them evolve their identity system using a bold color palette and a collection of quirky illustrations to highlight the brand’s creativity and commitment to the craft of pizza, then extended it onto every touchpoint including to-go boxes, merchandise, gift cards and more.
